Although Sin Rostro was said to have changed her face towards the end of season one, Gina Rodriguez thinks Bridget Regan will still be playing the villain in "Jane The Virgin" season 2.
According to the lead star's Time Magazine interview, it looks like Bridget Regan will be coming back as the villainous red head in the series. She's not very sure about it though.
"I think Bridget's coming back. I hope Bridget's coming back. I'm almost positive Bridget's coming back. I don't know what her contracts are like," she revealed. "I was definitely not told she wasn't, and I love Bridget."
Rodriguez isn't alone in her adoration for Regan. Fans were as surprised at the twist of events when her character, Rose, was revealed to be the infamous criminal mastermind Sin Rostro.
"I adore that woman," the Golden Globe-winning actress continued to gush about her co-star. "She's a phenomenal actress and a phenomenal person, so I hope she's coming back."
She even promised to text writer Jennie Snyder Urman as soon as the interview wraps up.
Meanwhile, the 30-year-old actress hoped to have more cameos for "Jane The Virgin" season 2 this fall. She wants Rita Moreno to come back most of all. The veteran Latina actress came as Rogelio's mother, making her Jane's paternal grandmother who opposed her son's relationship with Xiomara.
"We want her back so bad," the "Filly Brown" actress further gushed about Moreno, adding that "there are going to be some really cool guest stars for Jaime's past, because Jaime [Camil, who plays Rogelio] had a few wives, so I'm very excited to see amazing women join us again."
If Bridget Regan does come back, she will hopefully be joined by several other camoes who will make "Jane The Virgin" season 2 more colourful and hilarious.
