The upcoming Microsoft Lumia 940 and Lumia 940 XL have made its round in the rumor mill for quite some time now and today a leaked benchmark of the larger variant confirms the existence of the devices.
The first half of 2015 is almost over, but the Redmond tech giant hasn't confirmed any upcoming flagship yet as it was previously rumored that it won't release a flagship device until the Windows 10 for all platforms won't go official in July.
As the Windows 10 official release is nearing, the alleged Lumia 940 XL, the first Windows 10 based smartphone, has been spotted at GFXBench revealing some its internal specs. ( Neowin)
According to the leaked details, the upcoming Microsoft Lumia phone with codename RM-1100 will sport a QuadHD resolution; and under the hood will be a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 suggested by its Adreno 430 GPU coupled with a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
Camera-wise, it pulls off a 20 megapixel on the rear and a 5 megapixel selfie snapper. ( GSM Arena)
Interestingly, these specs are opposed to the first leaked details of the upcoming Lumia 940XL dubbed as "Cityman".
As per previous reports, "Cityman" will feature a 5.7 inch QHD display and will be powered by a 64-bit processor of Snapdragon 808 and it will be coupled with a 3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB which can be expanded via a microSD. As for the camera, it is saidto feature a whopping camera of 20MP on its rear and 5MP front snapper. A 3000mAh removable battery was also rumored to back up the phone.
A source of Fudzilla added that the upcoming flagship will feature an iris scanner, docking station, triple LED flash on its rear and a Type-C USB connector which OnePlus already claimed that it will be the first to introduce this technology.
