Upcoming HTC Aero Heads To US Through Sprint; Included On The ‘One’ Line-up But Sports Mid-Range Specs And Features

| By

HTC was rumored to be in the works of an upcoming Andoid based device dubbed as HTC Aero, but there had been limited details about this device to support its existence.

But today's latest update about the HTC Aero suggests that it might come into light on Q4 of 2015 paticularly in November. Retired gadget leaker Evan Blass dishes out on Twitter some details of the upcoming device, GSM Arena reported.

According to Evan Blass, it heads toward the US through Sprint, but it did not mention if it will be made available on other carriers too or it would be a Sprint exclusive. Though it is worth noting that HTC is one of the dominants in the mid-range market, so there's no way this device won't be released outside US.

The HTC Aero will be included on HTC One series which are flagship devices, but the gadget leaker noted that though named as a One device it won't come out as powerful as One devices are known to be. He went on that the gadget will be an "intermediate one" or shall we say a mid-range phone.

"HTC Aero tipped for release by Sprint, among other places, in early Nov. Despite being "One" branded, classified as an intermediate device," Evan Blass wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, HTC has been reportedly struggling with its sales more particularly on its recently launched flagship, the HTC One M9 which only shipped 4.75 million units of its flagship for the first quarter of 2015.

It was a tough competition with Samsung Galaxy S6 and LG G4, as a result "the company's flagship sales dropped by 43.75 percent compared to the same period last year." (Christian Post)

Recently, the Taiwan tech-based company added ads on its BlinkFeed App newsfeed to save its shrinking revenue, but caused backlash over its loyal HTC fans.
