Original "Avengers" cast Jeremy Renner has previously dismissed the idea of having a standalone film for her character Hawkeye.
And while he did not want to star on his own Marvel Movie he teased that he'll be part of "Captain America 3: Civil War" "ensemble."
"I'm happy to be the ensemble," Renner said in an interview with a previous interview with MTV. "I'm not scratching or clawing to do a solo movie by any means."
Adding, "I think he's a utility guy that can bounce around into other people's universes a little bit, especially like 'Cap 3.'"
And while his previous statements never really confirmed his appearance on the sequel starred by Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr., the "Avengers" star has now finally gave in a reveal the truth.
"They start shooting soon, yeah. I start toward the beginning of it. That's going to be a giant movie, 'Civil War,' man," Renner told Uproxx.
Not only will he appear in the movie, IB Times added that Hawkeye is probably going to play an important role in it.
"Renner's Hawkeye will reportedly have an important role in the beginning of 'Captain America: Civil War,'" the publication claimed.
Noting how the "Avengers" ending could play a pivotal role in the upcoming Steve Rogers standalone film.
Jeremy Renner also teased fans of his involvement through a Marvel fan artwork asking, "what side are you on?" as the caption.
"What do you say? What side are you on? #avengers #civilwar #captainamerica #ironman #marvel," he captioned the Marvel art photo.
