Dakota Johnson is on a roll! Following the highly successful "50 Shades of Grey" movie adaptation, where she played the female lead star Anastasia Steele, Johnson has now finished shooting a new romantic comedy film titled "How to be Single."
However, in line with the success of her acting career comes rumors that she is no longer dating her boyfriend Matthew Hitt.
Apparently, the two broke off due to "50 Shades of Grey," but Johnson and her Drowners guitarist boyfriend have proven otherwise.
The 25-year-old daughter of famous Hollywood stars Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson was previously seen together on the set of "How to be Single."
"It seems Dakota Johnson brought her boyfriend to work on Monday," Daily Mail reported.
Johnson and Hitt reportedly went on a date following the shoot.
"The 25-year-old actress was seen holding hands with Matthew Hitt, 28, as they left the set of her new romantic comedy, 'How To Be Single,' in New York City.
"The Fifty Shades Of Grey star led her beau off the premises, perhaps taking a break from filming."
And after that the couple has been spotted together again in West Village tagging along Dakota's dog Zepellin.
"She recently wrapped her latest film, How To Be Single,'" Daily Mail reported.
"And Dakota Johnson, 25, surely relished her spare time in Sunday, as she spent the day cosying up to her beau Matthew Hitt, 28.
"The two were spotted on an intimate coffee run while taking Dakota's pup for a stroll around West Village."
Apparently, the "50 Shades of Grey" star and her Drowners guitarist boyfriend have called it quits early this year because Matthew Hitt did not want to do anything with the actress' new found fame.
However, Hitt reportedly had a change of heart as they have seen back together again early April.
According to Daily Mail, "the 25-year-old actress has split from boyfriend Matthew Hitt, according to US Weekly, just as her erotic film has smashed box office records.
"And her new found fame and success could be the culprit for the breakup as a source told the publication: 'Her life was getting too crazy and it wasn't something that he wanted to be a part of.'"
