Are we getting more details about ABC's period series soon? Marvel's "Agent Carter" season 2 cast members Hayley Atwell and James D'Arcy will reportedly attend the comic book giant's panel at next month's San Diego Comic Con 2015.
"The stars of Marvel Television are coming to San Diego Comic-Con for can't-miss panels, exclusive signing events and more!," Marvel said on its website.
On July 10, Marvel's head of television Jeph Loeb, along with showrunners and cast of "Agent Carter" and "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will be participating in a panel that will bring "exclusive news and surprises about your favorite action-packed Marvel series on ABC." The panel will be held from 3 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. at Ballroom 20.
On the following day, Marvel's "Agent Carter" season 2 cast members Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and James D'Arcy (Edwin Jarvis) will be present at the company's booth at 10 a.m. for a cast signing event. They will be joined by showrunners Chris Dingess, Louis D'Esposito, Tara Butters, Michele Fazekas and Jeph Loeb.
The "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." cast signing event on the other hand will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Interested in attending the events? Get your passes on a "first-come, first-served lottery basis" starting 9:30 a.m. on July 11 from the Marvel Booth (#2329).
Apart from a ten-episode run and a Los Angeles setting, not much known about "Agent Carter" season 2. The show's official synopsis even teased of a possible "new love" for Peggy as Franchise Herald reported earlier this month.
With the on-screen chemistry shared by Peggy and Angie (Lyndsy Fonseca), fans have expressed interest in a relationship between the two. Even Atwell seems to push this idea in an interview with YahooTV in January when she suggested that Peggy would move on from Steve Rogers with a woman.
Movie Pilot's Eleanor Tremeer thinks this could be none other than Angie.
"What remains to be seen is whether the writers, and ABC, want to go full-blown lesbian relationship or just tempt the fans with the possibility."
Still, Agent Daniel Sousa, played by Marvel's "Agent Carter" season 2 cast Enver Gjokaj, might work up the courage to ask Peggy out again.
