Another set of press rendered photos of the Meizu MX5 surfaced online confirming it boasts a metallic unibody design and a physical home button, which Android Headlines assumes that it could function as a fingerprint scanner as well.
The fresh leaked photos could pretty sum up on what to expect on the upcoming flagship, in terms of its design.
Meizu MX5 appeared at a benchmarking site revealing some of its specs and features. The listing revealed that it will pull off a 5.5-inch screen display, and rumored to measure 146 x 74.6 x 7.9mm, and weight 147 grams.
As for its camera, it has a 20MP rear camera and a 3MP front-facing camera, but could possibly sport a 41MP Nokia-made camera sensor since Nokia and Meizu were rumored to merge in the near future. Both cameras can record HD videos of 2160p and 1080p respectively.
Under the hood will be a MediaTek Helio X10 (MT6795), which is rumored to be powerful than the Samsung Galaxy S6. In a leaked documentation of GeekBench, the Meizu MX5 scored higher than Samsung's flagship. Its chipset will be supported by a 3GB RAM and an onboard 16GB of internal memory.
In addition, there will be a 3,150mAh battery baked and will support Meizu's innovative fast charging called "mCharge", Gizmo China reported.
"This technology can boost the mobile device from 0 percent to 25 percent within 10 minutes. Plus, it can shoot up to 60 percent within 40 minutes of charging. The handset will have a solid 3,150 mAh battery pack." (via IB Times)
If these rumors are to be believed, the Meizu MX5 will be worth it to purchase which would only carry a price tag of $290 when launched in China next week.
