'Gotham' Season 2 Spoiler: Never-Mentioned Before Villain Coming To Be Played By 'True Blood' Star

| By

Earlier "Gotham" season 2 spoiler talked about two new villains coming to the Batman-prequel series.

Weeks before the first season ended, "Gotham" announced Dr. Freeze and Mad Hatter are set to grace the show. They are not the only ones who will terrorize the city. A recent spoiler from Deadline revealed another Batman-villain relative will join the show and will be played a "True Blood" favorite.

Deadline's exclusive "Gotham" season 2 spoiler revealed James Frain, known for playing Franklin Mott in "True Blood" and Thomas Cromwell in "The Tudors," will be playing someone related to Batman villain Tigress. The entertainment website wrote:

"With Fish Mooney out of the picture (at least for now), Gotham will be introducing a new formidable villainous duo in Season 2: Theo Galavan and his sister, Tabitha, who will go on to become DC Comics super-villain Tigress. James Frain (The Tudors, True Blood) has been cast in one of the two new regular roles on the Fox series. He will play billionaire industrialist Theo Galavan."

The "Gotham" season 2 spoiler from Deadline also described Frain's character as sexy, heroic, and loving brother. Of course, behind that personality is a monster that will keep Detective James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) and the rest of GCPD busy.

"A new Gotham arrival, Galavan is the savior the city has been waiting for - he is sexy, heroic, and lovingly devoted to his sister Tabitha. But behind Galavan's altruism is a centuries-old vendetta. Galavan and Tabitha (aka Tigress) will take chaos and violence to a new level in order to bleed Gotham. Their plan will lead to the creation of new villains... and the destruction of others."

A follow up "Gotham" season 2 spoiler reveale Tigress will be played by Jessica Lucas.

Robin Lord Taylor, who plays Oswald "The Penguin" Cobblepot, confirmed Dr. Freeze and Mad Hatter last month.
"I know two villains specifically for next season: Mr. Freeze and Mad Hatter are both coming to Gotham. I'm excited about that," Taylor said at the St. Louis Comic Con last month.
