Following the huge success of "Jurassic World," there are rumblings that Chris Pratt's next movie would be Disney's "Indiana Jones 5" movie.
While Disney has yet to officially announce the sequel to the classic action-adventure movie starred by Harrison Ford, Deadline reported that the movie is mostly already in development.
It's been said that Harrison Ford, who is busy with "Star Wars Episode 7" is now going to be replaced with someone who has the great potential of bringing the franchise to greater lengths.
"Regarding Harrison Ford, two more Indiana Jones features are in the negotiation stages as per Ford's contract clause on 'Star Wars,' which is the primary reason he didn't 'publicly' or 'privately' commit, or so I'm told," a source told MarketSaw back in February last year.
A source of Showbizspy added that "Disney is looking at its long-term options for the 'Indiana Jones' franchise. "They feel that the series has huge potential on many levels, starting with the films leading to other spin-offs like games which can generate more money than movies."
And while "Jurassic World" star Chris Pratt's involvement with "Indiana Jones 5" has been really rampant, the 35-year-old actor tried to play coy about it.
During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the 35-year-old actor was questioned about his involvement with "Indiana Jones 5."
"Interesting...I don't remember going over that....I don't know, that's....this movies is...to get to your question, Jurassic World opens on June 12," he answered.
Furthermore, he teased that he could have been actually given a call, but unfortunately missed it.
"Well, I have no answer to it, I don't know," he quipped. "I mean, no one has....I missed a phone call the other day, unknown number. I hope it wasn't him."
This was actually not the first time Chris Pratt was asked about his involvement with "Indiana Jones 5," TMZ previously caught the "Jurassic World" star and questioned him about it.
"We can't assume it's confirmed yet, but you are in talks right?" TMZ cameraman asked Pratt.
"I do...No. That's the problem... I don't know, I might be, I just got back from the woods killing a bunch of stuff," he confusedly answered the question.
