Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris aren't only one of today's hottest couples, but the richest too.
They were recently named as the world's highest-paid celebrity couple by Forbes, which means that they have dethroned Jay Z and Beyonce who ranked first on the list in 2013.
According to the magazine, the combined income of the 25-year-old singer and the 31-year-old DJ is worth $146 million while the 45-year-old rapper and the 33-year-old pop diva have a combined income of $110.5 million. Ranking third are Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert with an income of $57 million.
"With careers that only seem to be getting bigger and bigger, they [Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris] may be setting themselves up for a longstanding place at the top of this list (that is, if they stay together)," said Forbes.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris have been dating for only a few months and now there are rumors coming out that they are talking about marriage. In fact, the Scottish record producer is arranging the introduction of the "Bad Blood" hitmaker to his parents.
"Calvin has hired the private dining room in the Ubiquitous Chip restaurant for the meeting," a source told the Daily Star. Swift is also arranging for her mother to meet her boyfriend's parents who live in the United Kingdom.
According to In Touch Magazine (via Celeb Dirty Laundry), the pop singer is pressured to settle down with the DJ but she is smart enough to arrange a prenuptial agreement. "A lot of Taylor's closest friends are engaged, and she is going to be a maid of honor in a friend's ceremony this summer, so weddings are on her mind nonstop," their insider explained. "She is completely prepared to take it to the next level."
Their sources also revealed that the award-winning musician may not be good in protecting her heart, but she is smart when it comes to protecting her money. "Since Calvin and Taylor confirmed their relationship, his clout and overall fan base has basically doubled, business is booming for the music producer and DJ since he stepped out on Taylor Swift's arm," the website reported.
It is no surprise if Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris will again earn the top spot in Forbes' highest-paid celebrity couple in the world.
