Sony Xperia Z4, internationally as the Sony Xperia Z3+, finally released worldwide. It is now being sold in India, and UK, while its up for pre-order in other select Asian regions like Indonesia.
Today the flagship phone lands in the emerging market of India, carrying a hefty price tag of RS 55,900. Taro yamamato, business head of Xperia series, took the stage to officially launch the Sony Xperia Z3+ in India and introduced some of its notable features. ( via NDTV)
According to IB Times, the Sony Xperia Z3+ has a "unique capless USB design" which comes with an updated display driver for accurate tracking even when the display is wet. Sony's 2015 flagship is an IP68 certified, IP6X dustproof rating, and is certified IPX5 and IPX8, and boasts a waterproof USP port too.
The Sony Xperia Z3+ is a slightly upgraded Xperia Z3 but thinner at 6.9mm. It weighs 144-gram design and measures 146mm by 72mm and sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display which renders a 1,920 x 1,080-pixel screen. It comes in Aqua Green, Black, Copper, and White colour variants. CNET reported.
Underneath the aluminum steel case is the powerful 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 coupled with a 3GB of RAM. It also packs a 32GB onboard storage which can be expanded via a microSD card of up to 128GB.
Camera-wise, it carries the Xperia line's powerful camera trademark as it sports a 20.7MP Exmor RS shooter on its rear. Its main camera is capable of up to ISO 12800 with "camera shake correction"from its BOINZ image processor and has the ability to capture videos at up to 4K resolutio, or 1080p at 60fps. While its front snapper has a 5.1MP with full HD video capture.
In addition the Sony Xperia Z4 has a non-removable 2,930mah battery which Sony claims it can last up to 2 days, and will be bundled with a quick wireless charger.
