‘Dragon Ball Super’ TV Series Update: New Plot For Episode 1 Surfaced Online, While Another Trailer Will Be Released Right After ‘DBZ Kai’ Finale

"Dragon Ball Super" is set to be aired in Japan on July 5. As its premiere is nearing producers have been teasing the TV series with a series of trailers, and a new trailer is set to be released on Sunday, Attack of the Fanboy reported.

Last Sunday, it was confirmed that there are two new characters that will be joining the original "DBZ". One of which is Shanpa, which seemed to be derived from an alcoholic beverage Champagne like Beerus. While the Beerus like character is expected to be named on the upcoming new trailer on Sunday which will be released right after "Dragon Ball Kai" finale.

In addition, the trailer is said to be 30 seconds long as confirmed by the official "Dragon Ball Super" Twitter account.

Attack of the Fanboy added that the "Dragon Ball Super" plot for episode 1 is "slightly different" from the previous plot summary published by V-Jump Magazine.

Here's the real plot summary of Episode 1 according to the gaming website:

"While on Earth after the fierce fight with Majin Buu. Goku has been ordered by Chi Chi to work in agriculture every day while he trains as well. On the other hand, Mr Satan (Hercule) is said to have saved Earth for a second time and has won the World Peace Prize?"

Aside from the return of the second "Dragon Ball Super" TV series, it was also confirmed that there will be also a manga adaptation that will be released on extra-large issue of V Jump Magazine. It will be written by Toyotaro, author of the "Dragon Ball Heroes" who will team up with "Dragon Ball Super" creator Akira Toriyama.
