"As one can see by browsing to the page, Sony Pictures Television Inc. has copyrighted a product called "Breaking Bad" that features codes nine, 28 and 41. In summary, these qualifiers typically apply to a video game or gambling machine. Sony often uses these discreet terms to describe its PlayStation console titles," Design N Trends wrote.
SegmentNext clarified that Sony Enterntainment was not mentioned in the filing, but it is worth nothing that Sony uses the aforementioned codes when filing a trademark video Game in Europe.
"Beyond the basic description of a "Breaking Bad" gaming product, the trademark links back to Sony's U.S. headquarters and a law firm in Germany. Sony is yet to confirm this news, so you may take this as grain of salt as of the moment."
