The world was shocked when Nick Jonas and Olivia Culpo broke up after two years together. Despite the sad news, the "Jealous" singer did confirm that there was no bad blood between the former lovers.
"I wish the best for her in the future and we had a great two years," he reportedly told E! News about the Miss Universe 2012 winner.
According to the entertainment news site, the 22-year-old singer's busy schedule could have been one of the reasons for the split.
An insider allegedly told the site that the reason was "a sensitive matter" for the couple but that they "still love and care about each other and only want the best for one another."
"The long distance and ups and downs have been weighing on the two of them lately and it has not been easy but they know this is the best decision for them at this time," the source added.

According to the "Scream Queens" actor, he won't be replacing his ex-girlfriend of two years any time soon.
"I don't know, it's too early," he told E! News when asked about getting back into the dating scene. "I'm focused on my work and that, to me, is the priority right now."
While Jonas is putting his attention on his career, Culpo seems to still be trying to get over their breakup. She posted a hopeful message on Instagram about dealing with heartbreaks.
"Heartbreak is hard but you find more and more things to be grateful for every day," she captioned a photo of a sunset and palm trees.
