The newest host of the recently concluded "Asia's Next Top Model" Cycle 3 Georgina Wilson comes up every week in full glamor, looking as beautiful as ever. But who would have ever known that some of those episodes might have been shot with eyebrows raised as reports say the host sometimes comes in late?
Not everything viewers see on cam is reflective of what's happening behind.
In a report by Inquirer.net titled "How Do You Solve A Problem Like Georgina?", a person who is part of "Asia's Next Top Model" Cycle 3 said Wilson "wasn't liked by the Singapore production team," including allegations that she was arriving hours late and failing to memorize her lines.
"She meddled with the script and all. She'd act all haughty," the source told the news website. "They kept comparing her to the previous host who was easy to work with. She would be hours late for appointments, and she thought she could sweet-talk her way out of everything."
Wilson replaced TV host and eco-activist Nadya Hutagalung who had been with the series for two seasons and reportedly left because of personal commitments.
Only to be replaced by a less professional host?
The source further revealed, "You don't arrive at 1 p.m. when the call time is 9 a.m. You can't tell people that they shouldn't complain when you're late because everybody knows you wake up late. That's not acceptable.
Furthermore, the report also said that Wilson has been reprimanded by the producers many times. There was also one point when she went out crying from a meeting, the report added.
The source believed her tears came from an instance when Wilson allegedly hired her own hairstylist while the show had its own salon sponsor.
Because of her "bad attitude and unprofessionalism," Wilson has also been reportedly removed from the roster by her manager Shirley Kuan because the model-host allegedly "closed deals" with entities without the permission from her manager -- including the contract which placed her on board "Asia's Next Top Model" Cycle 3.
