Cheryl Burke could be the next Bachelorette, leaving her popular role on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars".
Radar Online sparked rumors on Tuesday that the Dancing with the Stars pro is going to be the next star of The Bachelorette.
"Cheryl has been in talks with producers to be the next Bachelorette and they think she'd be a really good choice," a source that claimed to be close to the show told the site.
"She has a huge fan base, she's great on television and they definitely think people would want to watch her find true love on TV," the source added. "Cheryl would be a fun person to have as the Bachelorette, and she was excited when they approached her to be on the show."
Meanwhile, a "source" close to ABC says she's been meeting with execs to find a project that's right for her, but nothing has been finalized yet.
However, E! News' sources tell fans that there is no truth to the report. One source says that ABC and Burke are discussing doing another reality series together and that they did mention The Bachelorette briefly. However, there are no discussions between her and the network about specifically trading in the dancing shoes for a rose.
"Never gonna happen! Never!" the source told E!, adding that Burke is the one that wants to join The Bachelorette.
