The Disneyland park in California shares the good news of debuting the "Inside Out" movie float when it paraded the new characters in the theme park,an online video showed.
But the bad news is, there seemed to be fewer visitors who appreciated the new Disney characters, making the float of the "Inside Out" movie a little boring.
The Orange County Register posted a video of Disneyland parading the "Inside Out" movie float before the Pixar Play Parade at Disney California Adventure
Seen on the float paraded are the movie's main characters known as the five Emotions of Joy, Fear, Disgust, Sadness and Anger. The float also had voice-overs from the characters in the film, with Sadness seated at the front area of the float.
However, viewers can notice from the video that there seemed to have less reception on the Disney "Inside Out" movie float parade, as compared to a throng of fans watching other float parades in the other parks, such as a the High School Musical float in Hong Kong Disneyland.
Disney's "Inside Out" movie is the story of an 11-year-old Midwestern hockey-loving girl Riley whose world changed when her family decided to move to San Francisco.
Riley was then guided by the Five Emotions, particularly Joy and Sadness throughout her adjustment journey.
The global reception to the Disney's "Inside Out" movie however has been favorable despite the theme park's apparent unfamiliarity, with the movie reportedly hitting high in the box office.
Website Box Office Mojo said the film has been raking around $154 million in five days since the opening.
Furthermore, the Disneyland in California is reportedly planning to revamp its "Tomorrowland" attraction to feature characters from Star Wars and Marvel Cinematic Universe, two franchises Disney has recently bought.
Prior to the planned Disneyland Star Wars and Marvel themes, the park has previously included characters such as Iron Man, Thor and Captain America in Innoventions, and more characters are expected when it opens the rumored attraction, reports say.
