"Orphan Black" season 3 finale which aired last week is one jam-packed episode.
The third run of the BBC America ended its female vs male clone storyline with most of the latter getting wiped out. The female clones (all played by Tatiana Maslany), on the other hand, got some sort of happy ending until the last few minutes. Probably people who saw that episode has his/her own favorite scene by now.
Last year, it was the clone sisters' dance off that floored followers. For season 3, it is the dinner sequence featuring several female clones and their friends.
It is not just the audience who listed the dinner table scene as their favorite. Even Tatiana Maslany. The Canadian actress sat down with an interview with Deadline to talk about "Orphan Black" season 3 finale and there, he talked about how much fun she had while filming the scene.
"The dinner scene-that whole sequence was really fun," Maslany said when asked what is favorite scene in the "Orphan Black" season 3 finale.
"A lot of the main cast was in those days, and a lot of them hadn't worked together before, and it was four clones, and it was a lot of choreography but also a nice emotional lighter moment for all of the characters which we hadn't really seen all season. Everybody gets crazy and you start laughing. It's just good fun."
Maslany also recognized the scene featuring Delphine (Evelyne Brochu) getting shot, a scene she described as a very emotional one.
"But I also loved the last scene that Cosima and Delphine have together, where there's something unspoken happening between them, and we don't really know what's going on with Delphine, and we don't really know if Cosima is sensing something deeper than what's going on. That was the last scene I shot with Evelyne [Brochu]. It was super emotional to do that."
The actress did not say though whether Delphine is alive or not as she herself is still clueless about the plans for "Orphan Black" season 4.
"I feel like there are a lot of possibilities. And again, plot, to me, is really foreign and doesn't really mean much. But in terms of the characters growing and changing, I think that they've grown up so much in the past three seasons, and I think that if we continue to change them and challenge them, that's all I'm interested in really."
