After the launch of LG's flagship for 2015 along with its watered down variants, the Korean tech firm introduces another device, the LG Band Play, the newest addition on its mid-range line up.
The LG Band Play, as the name itself caters music lovers as it's the first smartphone to sport a 1-watt speaker, "which they claim will offer up richer and clearer sound, at least compared to other smartphones," Uber Gizmo wrote.
To make its users' music experience incomparable, the LG Band Play comes with a premium LG QuadBeat 3 earphones that is first bundled with the LG G4 as its official accessory.
The recently unveiled mid-range phone packs a 5-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels; and a 64-bit quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with a 2GB of RAM- an upgrade among mid-range phones. It is also equipped with a 16GB onboard of internal storage which can be expanded via a microSD. (via Phone Arena)
The LG Band Play runs on the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system, while a 2,300 mAh battery baked in powers the phone.
On the camera side, "there's a 13 MP primary shooter with laser autofocus (most likely the same camera sensor used last year for the G3), while the front panel accommodates a 5 MP wide-angle camera for your selfie needs." (via Android Geeks)
Its network connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, USB 2.0, and NFC 2.0 (NDTV)
