Kat Graham Wants Bonnie And Damon Love Story To Bloom In ‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7; Plus, Some Good News About Caroline!

| By

If you ever noticed indicators that the characters of Bonnie and Damon will bloom into a real love story even before "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, you might just be on the same page as Kat Graham, the actress who plays the good witch.

According to a report by Movie Pilot, Kat Graham is looking forward to seeing her character Bonnie and Damon develop into a love team in the upcoming "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7, adding that she wants to explore the romance between Bonnie and Damon.

"I'm hoping for both," Kat Graham said in the report, referring to the love story and torn friendship with Damon. "I'm hoping that we see both sides of their relationship and how it can affect them both because it's obviously going to screw with Bonnie and him, but especially Bonnie."

But it is not the actors who will decide for what is going to happen next on "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. The writers of the series reportedly do not seem to feel that Damon will be able to start a new romance because of Elena's demise.

"The problem is that... Damon is still so madly in love with Elena," Caroline Dries explained in the report. "It would feel false for him to meet someone else and have sparks and fall in love. The viewers also wouldn't embrace it; any girl who comes close to Damon gets clawed at with their opinion, so it's not something we're going to jump into as writers right away."

Good news for Caroline

Meanwhile, good things are reportedly coming to Caroline Forbes, portrayed by Candice Accola, including a possible love story with Stefan and unlike the Bonnie-Damon team, this partnership seemed to be more visible.

Caroline went through tough times in the sixth season including losing her mother. It could be remembered as well that Stefan told Caroline in the finale, "I understand if I have to wait for you, I will."

Simple words but they open a lot of possibilities for a road towards a Stefan and Caroline love story which creator Julie Plec seemed to be trudging on.

"At the end of the pilot, [Caroline] says, 'Why doesn't anybody ever pick me?" Plec said in a report by IB Times. "You realize, here's a girl who's trying so hard to matter and she's over trying, she's overcompensating. What you've done in a TV series is you've set up a girl, that by the end of her run as a character, she will be the one that gets picked first."

If you are among the fans who are imagining Plec making a wink after this statement, then it's all positive for Caroline in the upcoming "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 run, coming to TV this fall.
