Janet Jackson's new song has only been released for just a day but it's already at number one on Billboard and Twitter's Trending 140 chart!

The iconic singer shared "No Sleeep" on Twitter, dedicating it to "my love". Produced by Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, the sensual single talks about her longing to spend some alone time with her lover.

"No Sleeep" is the first track that the legendary songstress released since her last album, "Discipline", in 2008. Despite the long hiatus, Jackson still commands a huge part of the music industry. "No Sleeep" easily became a trending topic on Twitter and fans have been expressing their excitement over the new material.

"The world is starved for talent. It's not [a] shock that Janet, Michael and Pentatonix shot up the Trending 140," a fan commented on Billboard's report of her achievement.

Coincidentally Pentatonx also released an "Evolution Of Michael Jackson" video which reached third place on the chart.

Fans who finally got the chance to listen to Janet Jackson's new song found the track "very mellow" with a "nice quiet storm quality".

Michael Jackson's sister will also be releasing her 11th album this year, as well as go on tour starting this August. She will be kicking off her "Unbreakable Tour" on August 31 in Vancouver and will go through several cities all over Canada and the US.

Her 36-date tour will include performances in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco and other cities. Performances for other parts of the world will be announced later on, according to the official website.

Her long-awaited comeback will surely fill up stadiums.

According to The Atlantic, the megastar will also be present at the BET Awards, where several artists will reportedly pay tribute to her and her music.
