'Entourage' Movie Sequel To Push Forward As Director Doug Ellin Defends Film From Critics! 'I Just Want You To Have A Laugh," He Said

Despite all the criticism an "Entourage" movie sequel is definitely a go according to reports.

The journey of Vince Chase (Adrian Grenier) apparently doesn't end from the first movie.

"I don't have any thoughts on what it is yet, but the plan is to do another one," writer, director and series creator Doug Ellin revealed to Zap2it.

Apparently, there are lots of things to discover in Vince Chase's life. More challenges to face.

"That's how life is. Everything seems great," Ellin said. "That's especially how Hollywood is. Everything seems great, then it goes to s***."

Furthermore, Ellin defended his work from movie critics who claimed that the "Entourage" movie "a teenager's fantasy come to life" and "Hollywood fails in its transparent attempt to make itself likeable."

According to the director, the film never meant to make viewers analyze since it's clearly a fantasy as he aimed for the audiences to have a laugh, HuffPost UK.

"People, especially critics, want to go 'what's the important reason behind this?'" He said. "There is no important reason, this is supposed to be 90 minutes of fun.

"You're supposed to go to the theatre, forget about your day, have fun. And that's it.

"We're lucky that we get to do this. What you see on the screen is kind of how we feel when we're doing it."

In addition, he reminded critics that "Entourage" movie is not a big-budget film citing "San Andreas" and "Spy."

"People are judging this movie as though it's a $100m movie, when it's a $25m movie," he says. " We're a modestly budgeted studio movie. It's a wild ride and I tried to put all of that in the movie.

"I don't want you to spend your time analysing it, I just want you to have a laugh."

Jerry Ferrara, who plays Turtle, on the other hand has suggested an idea about the film's sequel..

"I would worry about Turtle keeping his money," he said. "Like, he really starts to think he's Marc Cuban and risks it all on a tech company."

Furthermore, Ferrara shared details on his love story with UFC Ronda Rousey.

"As far as Ronda goes, I hope he doesn't screw it up," the actor said. "To use a fighting reference, he's punching outside of his weight class."

Furthermore, Doug Ellin revealed that Mark Wahlberg has guaranteed him that he can make the sequel happen.

"I took a year. I didn't know if there was really an appetite for it. But Mark told me, 'If you write this script, I guarantee I'll get it made.' " Piven-whose character, superagent Ari Gold, spends a lot of his screen time in fits of histrionics-enjoyed the time away. "Your body thinks you're throwing a temper tantrum for 12 to 14 hours a day," he said. "It can be a little taxing, so it's been a very welcome break."
