Fashion aficionados, there is a whole bunch of excitement coming up in H&M in the following months - from a designer collaboration with world-renowned fashion house Balmain, to a meet-and-greet with Czech tennis player Thomas Berdych this Thursday at H&M's Oxford Circus flagship store.
Event Magazine UK announced the fashion brand will be hosting a meet-and-greet with Czech tennis star Thomas Berdych on June 25 at the flagship store in Oxford Circus. The event will reportedly be held with the store's lounge area from 5 p.m.
Aside from the meeting with Thomas Berdych, fans can have a chance to win one of four professional tennis racquets via on online competition launched by H&M, the report added.
The tennis player was able to beat Roger Federer and Novak Djokovi during the 2010 Wimbledon Championships. He reached the finals but lost to Rafael Nadal in straight sets. He also reportedly played the longest ATP doubles match with Lukas Rosol after defeating Stanislas Wawrinka and Marco Chiudinelli during the 2013 Davis Cup.
Thomas Berdych is currently in collaboration with H&M that retails his collection of seamless tennis shirts, short tennis tights, tennis caps, sweatbands and tennis shorts, all at a selling price of less than $25.
H&M designer collaboration with Balmain
Website Racked also reported H&M newest designer collaboration with French fashion house Balmain, which is scheduled to be unveiled on November 5.
This is the H&M's 11th designer collaboration since it reportedly began its program with Karl Lagerfeld in 2004, "igniting a high-low retail trend that's seen ups and downs in the decade since.
Founded in the 1940s, French fashion house Balmain will reportedly reap benefits from this H&M designer collaboration especially since Hollywood A-Listers Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, along with the Jenner clan, are often associated with the Balmain.
H&M's designer collaborations are varied from designers such as Roberto Cavalli, Versace, Jimmy Choo and Alexander Wang. The fashion brand is also partnered with style icons such as Madonna, David Beckham and Beyoncé.
