Following the long debacle, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" cast Mimi Faust has finally decided to open her mouth and admit to her involvement of the infamous sex tape video scandal with her co-star and ex-boyfriend Nikko Smith.
Us Weekly had an exclusive interview with 45-year-old reality star where she reportedly confirmed that the adult film that supposed to be "stolen" from them was actually staged from the start.
The "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star had been telling everyone that the sex tape was not orchestrated at all insisting that Vivid Entertainment got hold of the infamous video from a stolen bag of Nikko Smith at the airport.
By then Mimi Faust claimed that the studio which also released the Kim Kardashian Ray J sex video scandal had approached her and Smith to make a deal.
Furthermore, she said that they were required by Vivid to film extra scenes to meet the required minute for the video to be released on public.
"We had to say something," the "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star confessed, regarding the lies. "I didn't tell anybody the truth."
Most importantly, Mimi Faust claimed that Nikko had used her all along, and that his intentions for her were never really sincere right from the start.
"Every time I would go to Nikko's place, there would be a camera and a tripod in front of the bed at all times," she recalled. "You know how you get that gut feeling? I didn't listen to my gut instinct. I kind of just shoved it to the side."
While she admitted to having regretted the decision to let the sex tape out in public, she revealed that she's still cashing in from the tape's profit.
"I get a check every quarter for the rest of my life," she revealed.
"Stupid decision? Yes," Mimi reflects. "I wish I could take it back."
Meanwhile, Nikko Smith's wife, Margeaux also had confession of her own.
While everyone seemed to be astounded by the news that Nikko has a wife of 10 years, Margeaux, who is now part of the "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" lineup admitted that she knew about the sex tape all along.
In fact, Margeaux revealed that she isn't "shocked" at all, Enstars reported.
"I wasn't really shocked. I was still shocked about the whole tape itself," Margeaux said. "I don't understand how peopled don't think that she's a part of it. It was just more that he even did it."
Adding, "He finally told me the whole lost bag thing wasn't true. I knew it wasn't. I just wanted him to say it to me. Because I know him. And that was really when he told me that, then he told me everything else."
And while this whole fiasco may finally come to an end, "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" star Nikko Smith and Margeaux's marriage is reportedly coming to an end as well.
Last Monday night's episode showed Margeaux asking Nikko for a separation.
