After being forced to hold off from singing (or talking) for six to eight weeks, everybody is already anticipating for news about Sam Smith's new song.
The Grammy winner's recent surgery on his vocal chords made fans - and even Smith himself - a little antsy for some new material. Fortunately, the "Stay With Me" singer is all better now and he's ready to work on some fresh music
The 23-year-old British sensation thrilled his fans - called Little Sailors - last Friday with a surprise announcement.

And it looks like it won't be just another song, he will reportedly be teaming up once again with the group that introduced him to the world. Electronic duo Disclosure took to the microblogging site to announce their planned "round two" with the world star as well.
"That's right... Round two, here we go @samsmithsworld," the tweet read.
Fans' hopes are high that Disclosure and Sam Smith's new song will be another sure-fire hit. After all, "Latch" proved to be a worldwide hit in 2012. Thanks to the said track, Smith was able to release his first solo album, "In The Lonely Hour", which went on to sell eight million records worldwide. He was also able to bring home four Grammy Awards off his debut album.
According to NME, Disclosure (consisted of brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence) reportedly confirmed the first batch of singers to feature in their new album along with their tweet about Smith.
Aside from the "Leave Your Lover" singer, "Caracal" will reportedly include Lionbabe, Gregory Porter and Kwabs. The record is set for release in September later this year.
Meanwhile, Sam Smith's new song aside, fans will get to listen to his amazing voice once again on July 18, according to the New York Daily News.
