Reports recently confirmed that the Miss Universe Organization has invited Caitlyn Jenner to be one of the Miss Universe 2015 and Miss USA 2015 judges, joining other big names in the field of sports and entertainment.
USA Today reported that the organization has made an offer for Caitlyn Jenner to be one of the Miss USA 2015 judges this July.
"While she is not yet confirmed to judge, the organization would indeed love to have her and are reaching out to make an offer," the organization told USA Today, adding that they are the "only pageant system" that allows transgender contestants as of 2011, after Canadian transgender contestant Jenna Talackova raised discussions on permitting transgenders to join the Trump-owned pageant.
Last week, the Miss Universe Organization has officially announced a partial list of the Miss USA 2015 judges with Caitlyn Jenner's name not on the list. An official release said some of the judges will include Miss Universe 2006 Zuleyka Rivera, country singer Jessie James Decker, "E! News" co-anchor Terrence Jenkins, designer Jonathan Scott, and three-time Super Bowl champion Emmitt Smith.
How about Caitlyn Jenner as one of the Miss Universe 2015 judges?
An insider told entertainment website Hollywood Life that Donald Trump "sees dollar signs with Caitlyn and wants her on a future 'Celebrity Apprentice'" adding that the businessman "would love Caitlyn to be one of the celebrity judges for the upcoming Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants."
Conversations on transgender beauty queen contestants started even before Caitlyn Jenner was eyed as one of the Miss USA 2015 judges. Back in 2011, celebrity judge Rob Kardashian asked a Twitter question to Miss Rhode Island Olivia Culpo on her thoughts if a transgender woman would win over a natural-born woman.
When Caitlyn Jenner appeared as a woman on the cover of "Vanity Fair," she reportedly shared she picked her new name while watching the Miss America pageant and tried out some names of the contestants.
"It's one of the hardest things in life - choosing your own name," she said in the report.
Contestants from all 50 states and the District of Columbia are competing in this year's Miss USA pageant.
