Will Ubisoft be finally able to address the issues it had with "Assassin's Creed: Unity" by delaying the PC release date of "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate?"
While the giant gaming studio has done this approach before, it still failed to provide a great gaming experience for PC users.
However, this time around Ubisoft promises die-hard PC gamers a much better "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" come its release date.
"We've got an internal team that's dedicated to the PC version, and one of the things that I'm happy about is that we're really taking our time with the PC version to really make it shine," Creative Director Marc-Alexis Côté told PC Gamer at E3. "We want the game to really work well on the PC on day one, which is why it's not the same launch [date] as the Xbox One and the PS4 versions. It will come a bit later in the fall, but I think it will be worth the wait."
"We're working really hard on optimizing the game, making it run smoother on a wider range of PCs," he answered, when asked about the poor performance of the game on high-end computers. "We're really dedicating a team to working on this and making sure it shines."
Whether or not Ubisoft will be able to deliver still remains to be seen most likely before the year ends, since "Assassin's Creed: Syndicate" PS4 and Xbox One release date is scheduled on October 23.
