"Thinking Out Loud" singer Ed Sheeran's fans certainly have overflowing affection for the singer-songwriter and he reciprocates is just as much.
The 24-year-old British star is known for being humble and approachable, despite having several Grammy nominations and two successful albums under his belt. He's not only close to famous people (Elton John, Beyonce, Taylor Swift, One Direction, etc), but he also makes it a point to include his avid followers in his life as well.
There are several reports of him doing nice and sweet things for his fans. Some of the memorable ones include "marrying" a 20-year-old fan with brain cancer. Katie Papworth was able to "propose" to the singer before she passed away in November last year, leaving the singer "so devastated".
On a lighter note, who could forget that hilarious fan letter he received from South Korea?
"You are a little ugly but I love you!" the letter read and Sheeran was entertained enough to brag about it on Instagram.
Ed Sheeran fans should also prepare themselves for random surprises from the "Photograph" singer.
He previously surprised an Australian couple on their wedding day when he suddenly appeared to sing his hit love song "Thinking Out Loud" for their first dance.
He also surprised a 13-year-old fan in a Canadian mall with an impromptu duet. According to Huffington Post, he just hopped on the stage and performed the song with the surprised girl. He also helped out a guy who wanted to propose to his girlfriend who was going to get a surgery to remove her brain tumor.
His fan service isn't always all smiles and surprise performances, however.
"The fans are always really nice! Really polite and gracious. The parents are the ones that do the things that I think are odd," he reportedly shared to Entertainment Weekly. "There was a woman in San Francisco, she wanted me to be her daughter's first kiss -- and her daughter was 9."
"She was like, 'Well, Carrie Underwood did it for this 11-year-old boy last week!' If Carrie Underwood kisses an 11-year-old boy, he goes into school the next day and they go, 'Oh, you absolute lad!' If a 9-year-old girl goes into school and goes, 'I got kissed by a 24-year-old yesterday,' police are being called, you know?"
There are a lot of Ed Sheeran fans who experienced sweet things from him and it doesn't seem like he'll stop making them feel special anytime soon.
