‘Ghostbusters 3’ Set Photos Leaked Online! Get A First Glimpse Of Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, And Kate McKinnon! Will Dan Aykroyd And Bill Murray Make A Cameo?

The cast and crew of "Ghostbusters 3" has started filming in Boston and the first set photos were recently leaked online.

The first photo showed Kristen Wiig wearing what seem to be a teacher's uniform and a brown wig. She looked quite shocked staring at two men fighting in the streets.

The second photo featured Melissa McCarthy and Kate McKinnon who both looked like geeks with their eyeglasses on. They appeared to be running away from someone which could be Slimer and one was carrying a huge duffle bag which could have a proton pack in it.

Check out the leaked photos shared by Extra TV.

The first set photos gave fans an idea what these actresses' role will be in the reboot. The Boston Herald recently acquired the super-secret script of "Ghostbusters 3" which revealed some major spoilers.

"Wiig and McCarthy play a pair of unheralded authors who write a book positing that ghosts are real," their script spies said.

"Flash forward a few years and Wiig lands a prestigious teaching position at Columbia U. (Like the original, the story takes place in New York City, even though it's being shot in Boston.) Which is pretty sweet, until her book resurfaces and she is laughed out of academia," their sources shared.

"Wiig reunites with McCarthy and the other two proton pack-packing phantom wranglers [Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones], and she gets some sweet revenge when ghosts invade Manhattan and she and her team have to save the world," their insider added.

Based on that report, there seems to be some similarities to the original "Ghostbusters" movie which means that Paul Feig is living up to his word. "We're not recreating the old movie but we want to do just enough fun nods that the fans will go, 'Oh, okay, they're acknowledging that the other movie existed,'" the director told Empire.

It will definitely be a fun nod if Feig can bring back some of the original actors in the reboot. According to The Boston Herald's spy, Dan Aykroyd and Bill Murray may make cameo appearances in "Ghostbusters 3." "They are negotiating," their source said. "But, of course, no one can get a hold of Murray."
