Lebron James failed again in the finals, his fourth time in his career. While congratulations are already in order for Golden State Warriors, the turmoil is not yet over for Cleveland Cavaliers.
Despite James effort to save his city, he is still being criticized. He gave it all on the court but on the bench, it seems he went to far.
According to a report by ESPN, Lebron James disrespected his own coach David Blatt by not following the latter's game plan. ESPN's Marc Stein wrote in his article that King James "emasculate Blatt in ways that are simply unbecoming of a player of James' legend-in-the-making stature."
"I saw it from close range in my role as sideline reporter through the Finals for ESPN Radio. LeBron essentially calling timeouts and making substitutions. LeBron openly barking at Blatt after decisions he didn't like. LeBron huddling frequently with Lue and so often looking at anyone other than Blatt.
There was LeBron, in one instance I witnessed from right behind the bench, shaking his head vociferously in protest after one play Blatt drew up in the third quarter of Game 5, amounting to the loudest nonverbal scolding you could imagine.
Which forced Blatt, in front of his whole team, to wipe the board clean and draw up something else."
Blatt not having the last say for Cleveland Cavaliers is an issue that NBA writers have discussed long before the start of the season.
It is believed that it was Lebron James who asked for Andrew Wiggins to be traded in exchange for Kevin Love, as well as getting Dion Waiters kicked out of Cavs line up mid-season.
Lebron James and Cleveland Cavaliers will go back to drawing board after NBA finals loss to Golden State Warriors. James only signed for two years with the Cavs.
Expected to return for the team are Kyrie Irving who got injured and rule out for the rest of the season in Game 1 vs Warriors and Kevin Love who injured his shoulder in the first round of the playoffs.
