Janet Jackson is going on a tour after being away from the spotlight for four years!

According to the A.V, Club, the multi-awarded singer announced that her "Unbreakable World Tour" will start this Fall. This isn't the only surprise from the singer, songwriter and music label-owner as well. She will also be releasing her 11th album sometime this year!

According to the official website, Janet Jackson's tour will kick off on August 31 in Vancouver, Canada. Her first US date would be in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Sept. 11. LiveNation and Rhythm Nation will reportedly produce the upcoming tour.

The 36-date run will include shows all over the US and Canada. She will reportedly be performing in Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami, Atlanta, San Diego, San Francisco and other cities.

She won't be limiting her shows in the US and Canada either. Dates for more performances worldwide will be announced at a later date, according to Jackson's official website.

The "Unbreakable World Tour" will be the Grammy winner's first tour since 2011. The upcoming album will also be her newest material since 2008's "Discipline". Saying that this is a long-awaited comeback is definitely be an understatement for fans who have been patiently waiting her return.

According to Yahoo News, Jackson hinted at the tour and possible new music back in May but it was only officially announced this weekend.

The multi-platinum artist has been making hits after hits since the 80s. She is best known for her songs like "What Have You Done for Me Lately", "All For You", "Everytime", "That's The Way Love Goes" and more.

The iconic singer also released a behind the scenes video of the tour via Twitter tagging it "#JANETUnbreakable World Tour" and "ConversationsInACafe".

Yahoo believes that Janet Jackson's tour will undoubtedly pack stadiums up, especially with her long hiatus. Fans shouldn't miss her upcoming return this Fall and grab their tickets right away when they're released on June 22.
