With the season premiere nearing as the days pass, fans and viewers are going insane on what is about to happen to Mystic Falls on the hit series "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. Spoilers circulating online assure viewers that it will be messier with the return of Lily Salvatore, and darker with Damon's losing demeanor.
But here is a plot twist: his brother Stefan is rumored to save the day, and take Damon out of darkness.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 executive producer Caroline Dries recently talked to E! Online and revealed some hints on what Stefan will do in the upcoming season.
"I'm really excited to see Stefan come into his own and he'll really take to the role of a hero, which will be really cool," Dries said in the report. "He's always been a hero but I think in a broader sense he'll become more heroic next season."
Christian Today reported Damon will be one of the characters that Stefan will save in the upcoming "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7. The report cited spoilers that Damon "will wallow in despair" after Elena's loss. He is set to become darker and messier according to reports.
Viewers are facing with at least three déjà vus in the next season: Damon's dark character from the start of the story, the brothers keeping each other's demeanor, and the return of Lily Salvatore.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 saw the Salvatore mother released from prison. This opens more doors for Lily Salvatore to bring trouble in Mystic Falls, as she works with the Heretics.
