"Fuller House" is making a comeback on Netflix this year but one of the original series' stars, John Stamos, was arrested for DUI suspicion in Beverly Hills last Friday.
CBS News reported that the 51-year-old TV star was arrested and cited by police for driving under the influence. He was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after authorities determined that he needed medical attention because of a possible condition.
Following the arrest, he thanked his fans via Twitter for the support that was given to him during the incident.
"Thanks to everyone for their love & support. I'm home & well. Very appreciative of the BHPD & Cedars for their care," he tweeted last Sunday.
Despite John Stamos' DUI arrest last week, the "Full House" actor faced his fans in good spirits on Tuesday, the Daily Mail reported.
He was spotted in Toronto on Tuesday with a huge smile on his face as he posed for pictures with fans and signed some autographs. He was dressed casually in a black long-sleeved sweater and patched khaki cargo pants. He also wore a pair of shades to match his outfit.
"Thank you Canadian immigration - you were super cool. HELLO TORONTO," he tweeted on Monday.
His Canada trip wasn't to avoid police or the press either. The news site reported that he flew to Toronto to film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2".
John Stamos' DUI arrest aside, he will be more than busy for the rest of the year. Aside from filming for "My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2", he will also be starring in Fox' new family-oriented series, "Grandfathered".
He will playing a successful restaurateur who discovers that he actually has a son with a past fling as well as a granddaughter! "Fuller House" is also in the works for a Netflix release soon.
