Meizu M2 Note Now Up For Pre-Order, Priced At $169; Will Be Shipped Worldwide After June 5 After Pre-selling Period Ends

Meizu's latest flagship is now listed for pre-order worldwide with an incredibly inexpensive price tag.

For the Android fans who are rooting for an affordable yet powerful smartphone, the Meizu M2 Note might just be the flagship they've been waiting for.

The Meizu M2 Note 16GB variants is listed on online retailers websites with prices ranging from $170 to $200, and Meizu's own website listed the smartphone at CNY 999 which is approximately $130.While its 32GB variant can only be found at Oppomart, however its status is 'Out of stock' as of the moment. Meanwhile, international buyers must note that tax and other charges may incur on top of the original price. Shipping will start after the pre-order ends in July 5, Phone Arena reported.

Though the Meizu M2 Note may look like a mid-ranger, it packs powerful features that can match with othe flagships.

It has a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display with a 1080x1920 resolution and octa core 64 bit Mediatek MTK6735 CPU coupled with a 2GB RAM and a 17GB of internal storage. Its second sim slot also serves a microSD slot for an external storage of up to 128GB.

Also, it runs on Flyme 4.5, Meizu's own UI, along with Android Lollipop 5.0 OS and supports LTE-4G network for faster internet connection.

Moreover, Meizu is rumored to launch a larger variant of the Meizu MX5 which received certification in China, as the Meizu M578CE has been found listed on China Quality Certification Center's website.

"According to the specifications of the Meizu MX5 Pro listed on the Chinese website, the device will feature a 6-inch Quad HD display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. The phablet will be powered by a 64-bit octa-core Samsung Exynos 7420 processor, paired with 4 GB RAM, and support 4G LTE (TD-LTE networks). Meizu's upcoming device will sport a 20-megapixel camera, a fingerprint scanner, a 4000 mAh battery, and will ship with Android Lollipop pre-installed, along with Meizu's Flyme UI installed on top," Ecumenical News wrote.
