'Gears Of War 4' Xbox One Release Date Finally Pushing Through Following 'GOW 3's' Debut At E3 2015?

| By

Confirmed! "GOW 3" remaster version was presented at E3 2015.

"Gears of War Ultimate Edition brings the original game to Xbox One at 1080p resolution with 60-frames-per-second gameplay," according to The Verge. "The latter bit will be especially enticing to fans who want a smoother version of the original's multiplayer modes."

The game is now available on Xbox One console.

Meanwhile fans are also anticipating a "Gears of War 4" release date announcement, however Black Tusk Studios unfortunately did not reveal anythin about the fourth sequel, given that its focus is still at "GOW 3" remaster.

It was previously reported by VC Post that Black Tusk Studios will most likely make the announcement at E3 2015.

Meanwhile, fans should not worry about the future of "Gears of War 4," since Xbox boss Phil Spencer already announced that everything is right in place despite the exit of Hanno Lemke.

With new GM Rod Ferguson, "Gears of War 4" is reportedly having "massive progress."

"The thing that was great about the early Gears of War games, to me, [was] just the epic scale of the settings that I was in," Spencer told Game Spot . "The story, the setting was a lot more what I would call soulful and maybe even a little dark. And [Rod Fergusson] and I have talked about this; I think the game over time became almost more of a parody of itself; not for any kind of horrible reasons. It's hard to continue to manage the IP."

Furthermore, Spencer explained that "Gears of War 4" is actually a sequel and not a reboot to the original game.

"I wouldn't call it a reboot, because I don't think the franchise necessarily needs that," he explained.

Adding, "I think we can make sure that we're investing in this thing for the next decade, which is how I want to think about it. The thing that was great about the early Gears of War games, to me, [was] just the epic scale of the settings that I was in. I think the story and the setting and what they're going through in a Gears of War-the name of the game, it really meant something to what that game was about. We've got to get back to that. The feeling of those individuals."

In addition to the release date news, Black Tusk Studios developer Jack Felling said that "Gears of War 4" is not going to be available for Xbox 360 consoles.

"No, sorry, it won't be available on the 360, but it will be available for the Xbox One," he answered a fan on Twitter.
