‘iZombie’ Season 2: Will Blaine Suddenly Become Nice After Being Cured? EP Compares Him To Jamie Lannister From ‘Game Of Thrones’

Liv (Rose McIver) may not have had the guts to kill Blaine (David Anders) for Lowell (Bradley James) but she did have enough foresight to inject him with the cure in the season one finale.

Will Blaine change his ways once he turns human in "iZombie" season 2?

Although it isn't as good as killing him off, Blaine getting the cure would most likely change his interactions with Liv in the next season.

According to executive producer Rob Thomas, they will be working in some comedies into the story despite the first season ending in a not so hopeful note.

Blaine will reportedly have to keep up the appearances of being a zombie for his clientele, because as he told Liv, the loss of his business will bring on the zombie apocalypse.

There's no question of Blaine turning human next season, but the question is, will he suddenly become nice in "iZombie" season 2? After all, a new big bad (in the form of the Max Rager company) was revealed in the latter part of season one.

"We're not going to make him cuddly next year. If you talked to me a few years ago, I would have thought, "Well, how in the world, after him spending Season 1 murdering homeless teenagers, could we ever believe him as anything but evil?" Thomas confirmed to TV Line about Blaine's disposition in the upcoming season.

Thomas also compared the brain-selling zombie mafia boss to Jamie Lannister of "Game Of Thrones".

"Somehow, Jaime Lannister has become a sympathetic character even though he threw a young boy out a window in Episode 1," he shared, adding that doing the same to Blaine "can be done."

He added that "maybe someday, we will attempt that." However, "for the immediate future, Blaine is bad."

The showrunner also teased that Liv will start "iZombie" season 2 having a "falling out" from the people around her. On the other hand, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) will go on a quest to look for more tainted utopium to create more of the cure and hopefully, perfect it.
