Nadya Suleman, or "Octomom" as she's better known, has entered rehab for prescription drug addiction while her father also says she has an alcohol problem.
The 37-year-old entered the Chapman House Drug Rehabilitation Center in Orange County, California, for a prescription drug problem, her rep confirmed to TMZ. She will be there for a 28-day stint, separating the single mother from her 14 children.
"Ms. Suleman has been taking Xanax that was prescribed by her doctor to deal with her anxiety but she felt she needed a treatment program to help with her recovery," her rep tells ABC News. "She will be in treatment for 28 days or more if needed."
The rep adds, "Although the rehab offered to treat her at no charge, Ms. Suleman opted to pay for the program."
Meanwhile, Nadya's father, is concerned about her drinking and driving with the kids in the car, RadarOnline reported on Oct. 30.
In a voicemail dated August 1 and obtained exclusively by RadarOnline, Nadya's father left a message for Gina B., who was helping to care for the Octomom's children at the time,
"Gina, this is me, Ed. I'm worried about Nadya. She's not answering the phone. And I really worry about her. Sometimes she starts drinking vodka, whatever, so maybe she should not be driving."
The Octomom was recently on a video by RumorFix where she let them into her new home and showed how her family is getting on in the new place. The house allow most of her children to have their own beds for the first time (they had been sleeping on mattresses on the floor), and the house features a large playroom and big-screen TV.
Suleman's previous home in La Habra was foreclosed on by the bank after she stopped making payments for over a year and she and her family were evicted. She was able to afford to move to the new rental with money she earned making an adult film.
