Willie Nelson Confirms A Cameo In ‘Zoolander 2’! Country Music Legend Revealed It Was All Because Of Owen Wilson! ‘We Are Good Buddies’

Another famous musician has confirmed his appearance in "Zoolander 2" and it is none other than country music legend Willie Nelson.

During an exclusive interview with Access Hollywood, the 82-year-old singer revealed that Owen Wilson, who starts as Hansel in the sequel, invited him to shoot some scenes in Italy. "Well, Owen and I are good buddies and we stay pretty close in touch," Nelson said.

The Texan-born musician also revealed how they've come into talks in doing a cameo in Ben Stiller's upcoming comedy. "Woody [Harrelson] and all these folks - we hang out a lot in Maui," he said. "[Owen] is the one who asked me if I wanted to do it. I said, 'Let's do it.'"

Willie Nelson is the latest addition to the list of "Zoolander 2" cameos. Last month, Justin Bieber confirmed that he'll be joining the star-studded cast. The 21-year-old pop star shared the photo that Ben Stiller posted on Instagram.

The picture showed the "Baby" hitmaker and the actor's character Derek Zoolander doing the "Blue Steel" pose. There were rumors coming out that Justin will play the role of an accident-prone young man named Rinjeff "Jeff" Qalmok-Dravinski.

Kristen Wiig also surprised everyone with her transformation in "Zoolander 2." According to E! Online, the "Bridesmaids" actress looked unrecognizable with her wacky V-shaped blond wig and bizarre black and white outfit.

If Owen Wilson was able to convince Willie Nelson to do a cameo in the comedy sequel, Will Ferrell also recommended another big name in the music industry to appear in the movie.

According to The Sun, the 47-year-old actor recommended Kanye West to the producers and the actor wanted his wife Kim Kardashian to appear in the movie too. "Kanye is friends with Will and appeared briefly in 'Anchorman 2' but he wanted to be in 'Zoolander 2' even more," their source said.

During an interview with MTV, Ben Stiller, who is the director and lead star of the comedy sequel, was asked what he thought of Kanye's rumored cameo. "I've heard that, too ... I'm interested, because a lot of people have been asking me about that," he said.

"Zoolander 2" also stars Will Ferrell, Christine Taylor, Penelope Cruz, Billy Zane and Olivia Munn. The sequel is scheduled to hit the theaters on February 12, 2016.
