Did ASAP Rocky tried to public shame Rita Ora in his latest single from his new album?
According to reports, the famous rapper's new track titled "Better Things" was a direct insult to the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress and songstress.
And for those who haven't heard the track here's an excerpt of the said lyrics that's supposed to throw a shade at 24-year-old singer-actress.
"Swear that b**** Rita Ora got a big mouth/ Next time I see her might curse the b**** out/ Kicked the b**** out once 'cause she b*****d out/ Spit my kids out, jizzed up all in her mouth and made the b**** bounce," the lyrics of the song said.
And while he did not deny it, ASAP Rocky explained the reason why he said those words in his song.
"I just want to clarify, this isn't me saying: People don't go listen to Rita Ora, or she's an ugly person, or nothing," the rapper told BBC's Annie Mac [via Complex]. "I'm not saying she's a terrible person, I'm just saying that when I was in a relationship and I did things with her that I wasn't supposed to do, she had a big mouth."
After admitting that he had an affair with the "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress, the 26-year-old controversial rapper said in an interview with Radio 1's Annie Mac that Rita Ora caused him problems.
"For me, she got me into a lot of trouble when I was dealing with her," he revealed as reported by Daily Mail.
Rita Ora on the other hand, seemed to have not been shaken by ASAP Rocky's dissing as she was seen on a date with her boyfriend, Ricky Hil.
According to Daily Mail, the couple who have been together for almost a year now.
"The loved-up couple were seen walking hand-in-hand as they made their way out of celebrity hotspot, The Chiltern Firehouse, in London," the publication reported.
The new album of ASAP Rocky, which was supposed to launched in June was released earlier due to piracy, something that happened with his debut album.
"OFFICIAL ALBUM RELASE IN STORES AND ONLINE @ MIDNIGHT TONIGHT , THANX FOR LISTENING , HOPE YALH ENJOYED . BLESS .... A$VP X LIFE X RIP YAMS," the artist tweeted.
An official statement from RCA was also released saying,
"Due to the Memorial Day holiday, we shipped physical product early to the stores to ensure we were prepared for the June 2 release date," the statement said as reported by ArtsBeat. "In light of the album leak on Monday, we asked the stores to place the product on the shelves and we expedited all assets to the digital music providers to get the album up by midnight in support of the new release date."
