Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 Specs Leaked? Will Set The New Trend Of A new USB Type-C Port

Upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5's specs have recently leaked online and reveals high-end features which would make the Korean tech giant par from its competitors.

When it comes to innovation, Samsung has been the trendsetter in the Android market today as its Galaxy Note series have set the standards of phablets.

According to GSM Arena, the Galaxy Note 5 will feature a USB Type-C port, It will also support USB 3.1 which will make transferring files in an instant and has a transfer speed of up to 10Gbps with compatible devices.

"Type-C can also handle 20 volts and 5 amps of power, compared to the 5 volts and 1.8 amps that USB 3.0 supplies, which means we won't have to wait as long for our devices to charge," Tech Radar added.

The tech site also added that "industry insiders" have spilled the beans ahead of Samsung's confirmation of its existence.

According to the sources, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will have an upgraded screen size of 5.89inches; a powerful 4100mAh battery capacity and an Exynos 7422 chipset (an upgrade from Samsung Galaxy S6's Exynos 7420.

In a recent report of GforGames it revealed that Samsung won 't be using a 4k resolution on its upcoming devices, so it could be 2k resolution instead. Also, it will support UFS 2.0 Flash from the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.

Moreover, it will also boats an 'auto eject' feature on its S pen that can be triggered by a "shape gesture" or a voice command.

"Since it is possible to automatically eject the touch pen only with a simple manipulation and/or command, it is easy to manipulate the electronic device with one hand, and since a separate locking device for confining the touch pen isn't needed, it is possible to enhance the usage convenience of the electronic device," revealed Samsung in the patent. As for its release, it is expected to debut at the IFA 2015 in September.
