Fans watching "Jurassic World" in IMAX will have a big treat from a tiny superhero this weekend. IMAX announced on their blog that the latest teaser for "Ant-Man" will premiere on June 17 during the screening of Chris Pratt's latest movie.
"In anticipation of the film's release, we will be showing an exclusive six-minute long sneak peek before IMAX showings of 'Jurassic World," they revealed. "The clip will play starting opening weekend domestically, as well as internationally in select IMAX theatres."
Marvel Entertainment also shared the good news on Twitter. They posted a 30-second teaser and wrote: "Heroes don't get any bigger than Scott Lang in #Marvel's @AntMan, coming to theaters July 17!"
Marvel's upcoming movie features Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who turns into a shrinking superhero called Ant-Man. "Throughout the film, Lang is challenged to hide the secrets of his alter ego as he tries to save the world," IMAX revealed.
Before "Ant-Man" hits the theaters on July 17, fans can get another glimpse of their favorite Marvel character this weekend. Many people have been anticipating more exciting action scenes and funny moments including Evangeline Lilly's punching lessons with the 46-year-old actor as shown in the official trailer.
Also known as Kate in the hit TV series "Lost," Lilly stars as Hank Pym's daughter Hope Van Dyne in the new Marvel movie. During an interview with CNN, the 35-year-old actress talked about her new character. "[Hope] is the daughter of the founders of The Avengers, Ant-Man and the Wasp. She is a very talented, intelligent, capable woman and a force to be reckoned with," she said.
Evangeline also spilled out some spoilers, which may give the audience an idea what to expect in the film. "['Ant-Man'] is very much a heist film. It has all the fun, tension and drama of a good heist film," she said. "The heist is being masterminded by myself, my father and Scott Lang."
