For Beyoncé's business venture to be successful, the "Pretty Hurts" singer must be the "product of the product," which means she has to be the first one to show her support for the cause. But it appears as though she is defeating the purpose of her vegan food delivery service - by reportedly chomping on a burger.
The show "Good Morning America" on Monday teased that Beyoncé had an "amazing" announcement to share, Entrepreneur.com reported. The announcement turned out not to be a music album, but a pre-recorded monologue about vegan diet according to the report.
The "Good Morning America" feature can be watched below.
However, one fan was brave enough to debunk Beyoncé's beliefs by posting a photo of the singer chomping a burger with Nicki Minaj.
Business Insider earlier reported the launching of a vegan food delivery service, Beyoncé's business venture, from a partnership with her trainer Marco Borges.
Called "22 Days Nutrition," Beyoncé's business venture delivers meals that are 100 percent plant-based made with non-GMO, gluten-free, soy-free, dairy-free and organic ingredients. The report said the meals are priced at $9.76 to $16.50 each.
"We all know the importance and value of eating plant-based foods but often times find ourselves trapped in a series of bad habits that sabotage optimum wellness," said co-founder Borges in the report. "The Vegan Meal Delivery program makes it easier to reset your habits with healthy and delicious plant-based foods."
There were consumers who were quick to try Beyoncé's "secret diet," but were disappointed of the process. Business Insider said in a separate report that The Coveteur's Michelle Persad was complaining about starving with the diet.
"I tried the 22 day Beyonce vegan diet... and I'm starving," Persad wrote. "Throughout the process, I kept wondering if Beyoncé really adheres to this diet - for some reason I can't see her scarfing down microwaveable muffins."
"All you have to do is try. If I can do it, anyone can," Beyoncé said in the Business Insider report.
