Will gamers finally see a "Just Cause 3" release date this year?
While there has been no official announcement yet, Game Spot reported that Avalanche Studios already revealed that the open world action-adventure title will be launched on "holiday 2015."
The gaming pubication mentioned that the revelation was made during a new trailer from "FireStarter," where Rico Rodriguez was featured in action for the gameplay.
IGN added that PS4 release date for "Just Cause 3" will indeed happen this year.
In line with "Just Cause 3" PS4 release date news, Avalanche Studios officially announced that the upcoming game will finally feature an offline mode, but it will compromise the multiplayer feature of the game, PCGames.de reported.
"We want to make the game accessible to as many people as possible," game director Roland Lesterlin said when asked about the offline mode. "Absolutely."
And for fans to further understand the reason behind their decision, the gaming studio explained saying,
"The mod is absolutely fantastic," Avalanche co-founder Chritofer Sundberg told Game Spot. "We owe those guys a lot. They have actually supported the game and helped it stay alive so many years after it was released. We don't expect the fans to make the multiplayer for Just Cause 3, but at some point you have to make a choice on where your focus is. Our strength is the sandbox experience, and we want to deliver a great Just Cause 3 experience."
Sundberg also told with IGN that the team believes that single player mode is what's best for the game.
"It's tough to make it fit with the Just Cause IP," Sundberg explained. "For us, the sandbox has always been the focus, and that's where we can really shine. I think that's where we can improve a lot on the game. Adding a layer of multiplayer when you're not really sure?"
"The [Just Cause 2 PC] multiplayer mod got away with so much that we never could with bugs and stuff. It's so chaotic, and that's what makes it fun. But we could never do something like that, release it, and expect people to pay for it."
Adding, "We were taken by surprise with the Just Cause 2 multiplayer mod, and we hope they'll look at JC3 the same way. Obviously we're more...prepared this time, and we can offer more support to the community. We love them."
