‘Supernatural’ Star Jared Padalecki Joins The ‘Gilmore Girls’ Reunion With His Wife! Who Did He Want Rory To End Up With?

| By

"Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki had to cancel his appearances for several fan events for the CW show some weeks ago due to exhaustion.

Thankfully, he was already refreshed enough to attend the "Gilmore Girls" reunion last Saturday. He previously had to call off his attendance to the popular show's fan convention because he was "in desperate need of my family."

Several weeks later, his wife, Genevieve Cortes, still showed her support for her husband as she accompanied him to the ATX Television Festival in Austin, TX this weekend.

Taking to Twitter, the 32-year-old TV star posted a photo of himself and his wife that day looking very excited. He captioned the snap, "On the way to #GilmoreGirlsreunion at #ATXFestival with my beautiful bride @realGpad."

The "Supernatural" star Jared Padalecki also revealed who he really wanted Rory's true love to be in "Gilmore Girls".

Despite playing Alexis Bledel's character's first boyfriend, Dean, in the series, he was actually rooting for the town bad boy, Jesse, to be her ultimate choice.

"I'm team Jess. I admit it. I even told Milo. I'm totally team Jess," he told US Weekly during the event's red carpet event.

On the other hand, Milo Ventimiglia, didn't really think his character was the right partner for Rory.

"I've been vocal about being team Dean, so maybe she should have gone way back around to the very beginning. That would have been nice," the "Heroes" alum revealed to the news site.

Both actors also shared their approval for a reboot of the Stars Hallow-based dramedy.

"I love the character of Dean and now I'm on a show where I play Sam, and my brother is Dean... I'd love to go get the opportunity to go and wrap up Dean's story. See where Dean is," Padalecki consented.

Fans of the "Supernatural" star Jared Padelecki don't need to panic as well. Despite feeling overwhelmed with exhaustion last month, his representative assured fans that he will be back on the "Supernatural" set by July to continue Sam and Dean Winchester's story.
