Will Dwyane Wade finally leave South Beach for the Windy City?
While the 33-year-old NBA superstar already has a total of three rings under his name, two of which was with four time MVP awardee LeBron James, he is said to have been considering leaving his home town for another city.
According to Slam Online, there are rumblings about Dwyane Wade's career, which all started with Miami Heat.
The 12-year veteran is reportedly considering leaving his home team Miami Heat "if he doesn't get his money this summer," as said by the source.
"Last summer, in order to give the Heat flexibility to augment its roster, Wade opted out of the final two years of a contract that would have paid him $41.6 million," Miami Herald said in a report that started all the rumors. "He instead accepted a two-year, $31 million deal, which included a player option for next season at $16.1 million. [...] Wade said last summer that he was curious to see what he could command in the summer of 2016, when the cap is expected to skyrocket from $67 million to $89 million. That led to the belief that Wade would opt-in this summer."
The publication also mentioned the NBA star's agent Henry Thomas already confirmed that the Dwyane Wade is already in talks with another team, hinting that he is really leaving Miami Heat.
"With the amount of time he has spent with the organization, every effort will be made to try to work something out," Thomas said. "The five times he played for a championship, resulting in three championships, is a significant accomplishment for any professional. We are continuing to talk about a resolution that would be satisfactory to both sides."
And while reports of negotiations are rampant Pro Basketball Talk claimed it's still possible that Dwyane Wade will stay with Miami Heat.
But if the three-time NBA champ decides to finally leave South Beach, there's an ongoing rumbling claiming that he's be leaving Miami Heat for Chicago Bulls next season.
