Riley Curry Has Haters Due To Her Post NBA Game Antics? Ayesha, Steph's Wife, Says 'Let Your Children Be Children'

| By

Riley Curry has taken the NBA by storm. Of course, not on the basketball court because she is barely three years old. The daughter of this year's season MVP Stephen Curry has become a viral sensation with her vibrant presence during post game press conference.

Most people find Riley's antics cute but of course, some are just too serious and thinks kids should not be in the press room.

For Ayesha, Stephen's wife and Riley's mother, the kid's appearances during post NBA game event is just an extension of her husband's responsibility as a father. More importantly, she thinks it is natural and she and Steph are just letting Riley be a child that she is.

"I thought it was beautiful for him not to push his daddy duties to the bottom of the list just because all eyes were on him. I believe you should let your children be children, and don't be afraid to be a parent, regardless of who's watching," Ashley wrote in new op-ed for TIME. "We are also extremely proud that in spite of some criticism, Riley was able to share in that experience with her father and bring joy and laughter into the lives and homes of many all over the world."

Ayesha also believes Riley Curry's NBA press room antics are loved by more people.

"Family matters! Our children matter! At the end of the day, when all the lights dim, and the cameras are gone, we are still here as his biggest, loudest, and most supportive cheerleaders. We are also extremely proud that in spite of some criticism, Riley was able to share in that experience with her father and bring joy and laughter into the lives and homes of many all over the world."

Right now, Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors are up, 1-0, over Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA finals. If GSW continue their winning ways, expect to see more of Riley Curry in NBA post game interviews.
