'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' Season 3 Spoiler: Fans Won't Like This! Jake And Amy Romance Will Not Sail Smoothly

| By

There is not much "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 spoiler around ever since the Fox comedy series ended last May 17.

However, the latest one series creator shared during the ATX Festival in Austin, Texas might upset some fans. It is something about the brewing mutual understanding between Jake Peralta (Andy Samberg) and Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero).

With the way they ended their "friendship" in the second season finale, the biggest "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 spoiler most fans look forward to is about Jake and Amy.

The two shared not just one, not two, but three kisses in the last episode. It is an indication that somehow, Amy is learning that she likes Jake who have confessed his feelings for her a couple of times ago.

Although two of those kisses were because of adrenaline due to their work, many are positive it will grow into something more beautiful.

Fans might need to hold their excitement as during the Austin event, series creator Dan Goor said it will be a slow burn. Jake-Amy will not instantly become boyfriend and girlfriend when "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 starts airing.

"It's not smooth sailing from here on out," Goor said when asked for a "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 spoiler regarding Jake and Amy romance. "They work together, they're different personalities. They kissed in a moment of trauma, and now they have to figure out what's happening."

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 premiere will not come until fall. Dan Goor assures when it comes, people will be satisfied.

"The first episode will not be a yank," he told fans.

As for Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) who in the finale decided to move out of the precinct after being offered another job, fans don't have to worry because he will still be around when "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" season 3 premier hits.

"If we got rid of them, Fox would have the right to call the police, handcuff us, and throw us off of cliffs. They are critical, wonderful cast members who are incredibly funny. They are still regulars and we will be following them," Goor said in an interview with The Hollywood Report shortly after the second season's final episode.
