'Agents Of SHIELD' Season 3 Spoiler: Is Mack Still With The Good Guys? Henry Simmons Promoted To Series Regular

| By

When "Agents of SHIELD" returns this fall, expect to see more of fan favorite Mack on a regular basis. Latest "Agents of SHIELD" season 3 spoiler revealed Henry Simmons has been promoted into a series regular.

In this year's finale of the Marvel series, Mack told Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) he is taking a leave to find another work. So he may not be way, after all.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues to fortify its ranks. TVLine has learned exclusively that the ABC drama has promoted Henry Simmons to series regular status for Season 3 - on the heels of doing same for series newcomer Luke Mitchell," TV Line wrote in its "Agents of SHIELD" season 3 spoiler.

The report did not indicate though where Mack will be now after quitting from the SHIELD.

Before Simmons' promotion, recent "Agents of SHIELD" season 3 spoiler also revealed Luke Mitchell, who played inhuman Lincoln, is now a regular cast.

"Having brought a certain... electricity... to the proceedings on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luke Mitchell has been promoted to series regular for Season 3, TVLine has learned," TV Line reported.

It is still unknown whether Mack or Lincoln will work again with their former colleagues as the teams they were part of have already been dissolved with some member deciding to lay low. However, fans don't have anything to be worried about as the core of the team will still be around according to executive producer Jeffrey Bell.

"Our team is coming back. As we did after the first season, there were a lot of changes," Bell said in an interview with Comic Book Resources shortly after the finale aired.

"Not too much in personnel, but in who they were and what roles they played. We introduced Henry [Simmons], Adrianne [Palicki] and Nick [Blood] this season, but everybody else has gone through some big changes. It's much more about how can we continue to make this show evolve episode-to-episode, season-to-season. The fact they managed to survive this year? Congratulations to all of them! Come on back, and let's see how next year goes."
