The next Samsung Galaxy Note 5 release date is reportedly imminent following Samsung's executive VP Rhee In Jong accidental revelation in an investor call yesterday.
According to Tech Times, the next high-end phone, believed to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 5, has been somewhat confirmed to be launched along with Samsung Pay in September.
Samsung's executive VP Rhee In Jong went on to explain that the Korean tech giant had to push back the release of Samsung Pay, which was supposed to debut on Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge earlier than July in North America and South Korea, BGR reported.
As for its specifications, it might sport a massive upgrade on its screen display which will boats a 6-inch 4K AMOLED display and might "get an octa-core processor and ultra-high megapixel camera."
While SamMobile tells BGR that the Note brings a "a 2K or a 4K Super AMOLED flat display, an updated octa-core Exynos 7422 processor, and the traditional S Pen."
Though Android M is now official it was rumored that the upcoming phablet will run on Android Lollipop 5.1 ( via Tech Times)
It was also previously rumored that the Note 5 will be launched in July ahead of Apple's next iPhone release, but Samsung's exec accidental confirmation of its release strongly points out to SamMobil's report that it will make its first appearance at IFA 2015 in Germany in September.
On the other hand, the Note 5 might lose its hype over the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6 Plus which won't be at par in terms of its specs and will surely attract prospect buyers with its curved glass display.
The Plus variant of the SGS6 dubbed as Project Zero 2 is rumored to feature 5.4- or 5.5-inch Super AMOLED dual-edge curved display, 32GB internal memory, and will pull off a 5MP front and a 16MP rear camera. ( GSM Arena)
