Jamie Dornan Confirmed To Return To 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' Movie Sequel! Actor Was Not Forced To Leave The Franchise By His Wife Amelia Warner

Prior to confirmation that "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie director Sam Taylor-Johnson is no longer returning to the sequel, there were reports claiming that male lead star Jamie Dornan has dropped from the franchise.

Apparently, the 33-year-old Northern Irish actor, who portrayed the role of Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of E.L. Jame's best selling erotica novel, has been forced by his wife Amelia Warner to leave the franchise.

According to Movie Pilot, Warner, who married Dornan in 2013, has asked her husband to exit from the "Fifty Shades of Grey" movie sequel because she can no longer contain the bad publication it brought to the actor.

However, according to Australian magazine NH Jamie Dornan was able to convince his wife that he needed to be in the franchise, since it has been very helpful to his career.

"Jamie said the movie would skyrocket his career, a source told Australian magazine NW. "He tried to assure Amelia nothing would change but women all over the world now lust after Jamie. She hasn't seen the film and I don't think she will to be honest."

Furthermore, Donan's reps have vehemently denied the reports telling ABC News that the actor will still very much return and reprise his role as Christian Grey.

"Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking forward to making the next film."

Universal on the other hand, needs to find a replacement for director Sam Taylor-Johnson before "Fifty Shades of Grey" sequel gets into production.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" movie sequel is reportedly slated for a 2017 release date.
